ONE MILLION meals before Ramadan.

Join the challenge and earn double the rewards!

Gaza’s entire population have faced hunger and over 1 million are at catastrophic risk of famine. In Yemen, millions are malnourished including over 2 million children, with the number rising daily. Sudan is facing the world’s largest hunger crisis which is affecting 19.5 million.

We cannot ignore this mass starvation.

MATW is setting out to purchase, cook and distribute ONE MILLION nutritious meals in all these regions before Ramadan begins.

There’s a bonus too!

If we hit the target, MATW will match that achievement with another one million meals, this time as SUHOOR/IFTAR in the holy month, earning you the incredible rewards of feeding the fasting.

Help us reach one million meals before Ramadan and in Ramadan too!

Sudan is facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world today.

Entire communities that were already struggling with poverty have been shattered by conflict, hunger and mass displacement. Parents are watching their children grow thinner, not knowing when they will next be able to feed them.

Today, more than 21 million people in Sudan are facing high levels of acute food insecurity.

Famine has already been confirmed in many cities, where people have endured siege, violence and food blockades for months. In some areas, families have survived on animal feed and gone days without a single proper meal.

Over 10 million people have been forced to flee their homes, many of them walking for days with only the clothes they are wearing and a few belongings in their hands.

They shelter under trees, in makeshift camps or overcrowded rooms, with little access to food, clean water or healthcare. Mothers skip meals so their children can eat. Elderly people and babies are the first to collapse under the weight of hunger, heat and disease.

MATW continues to stand beside Sudanese families in this catastrophe.

We're providing food packs, clean water, basic healthcare support and essential items to families inside Sudan and to those who have fled to neighbouring countries.

Your donation can help a family in Sudan survive this crisis.

WE CAN'T

IGNORE THEIR PAIN

Gaza is living through one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent history. Relentless attacks, siege and the collapse of basic services have left families struggling for food, water, medicine and safety.

Almost 70,000 people have been killed.
More than 20,000 children.
Over 170,000 people have been injured.

Hundreds have already died from hunger, and large parts of Gaza are now officially classified at famine level, with more than 640,000 people facing starvation.

Most of Gaza’s population has been displaced, many families multiple times. Parents put children to sleep without knowing if there will be food, water or even a safe place to wake up tomorrow.

Lebanon: A nation hit again and again

This crisis is tearing through Lebanon. A country already suffering from economic collapse is now facing the impact of escalating cross-border violence and repeated displacement.

Since late 2023, thousands of people in Lebanon have been killed or injured, and around 900,000 people have been forced from their homes, many sheltering in schools, unfinished buildings or overcrowded apartments.

In some areas, entire villages near the southern border stand emptied, with families too afraid or unable to return.

This disaster has left countless families homeless, anxious and dependent on support simply to get through each day.

We are there to answer the call. Will you join us?

EMERGENCY

RESPONSE

Imagine standing in a flimsy tent, the biting winter wind tearing through thin fabric while icy rain turns the ground to mud.

This is where you're meant to sleep, eat and SURVIVE, with no heating, no warm clothing and no escape from the cold.

This is the reality for millions of people in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Sudan as they face the coming winter.

In Gaza, almost the entire population of around 2.3 million people has been forced from their homes, many now living in overcrowded tents or makeshift shelters.

Winter rains threaten to flood these areas with dirty water and sewage, while cold, damp conditions drive a spike in respiratory infections among children and the elderly. Hunger, sickness and freezing nights turn every day into a struggle to stay alive.

In Lebanon, hundreds of thousands of displaced families, including many Syrian refugees, are living in tents and unfinished buildings that can barely withstand the cold.

In many regions, snow, freezing winds and heavy rain cut communities off from help. Inside these shelters, children sleep in damp clothes, and the risk of respiratory illness grows with every cold night.

Across Syria, winter brings sub-zero temperatures, icy winds and snow. Millions of people are still displaced, and 2.2 million live in camps or informal sites, many with only thin tents and no proper insulation from the cold.

For families already weakened by years of crisis, a single freezing night can push the most vulnerable over the edge.

In Sudan, families who fled violence now sleep in overcrowded camps or on bare ground, often with no mattresses and very few blankets as the nights turn cold.

Children cling to the only blanket in the family, while parents stay awake shivering, trying to keep little ones warm until morning.

You can feel the cold, the hunger, the overwhelming fear that you will not make it through the night.

For children, the elderly and the sick, winter in these crisis zones is not just difficult, it can be deadly.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. MATW is on the ground, working against the clock to provide life-saving winter relief:

MEDICAL KITS
MATTRESSES
FOOD PACKS
HOT MEALS
BLANKETS
MEDICAL BEDS
STRETCHERS
FUEL

However, we urgently need your continued support to save as many lives as possible before it's too late.

Your donation of £500, £250, £100, or whatever you can give will help deliver warmth, food, and shelter to families who have lost so much. You can be the difference between life and death for these people.

Why

Donate?

What is happening across Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Sudan is truly unprecedented. The levels of hunger, fear and insecurity are beyond imagination.

While we are blessed to eat whatever we want each day, families in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Sudan are enduring unimaginable hardship. Many are going days without a single meal. Children are starving and families are desperate for even a small piece of bread.

We go to sleep each night in the comfort of warm homes, but there are millions shivering in the cold, living in makeshift shelters with no protection against the elements. The biting cold seeps into their bones as they struggle to survive.

We enjoy safety and security every day, but those families live in constant fear, with the threat of violence hanging over them at every moment. They do not know if they will make it through the night as crisis and uncertainty continue without warning.

Putting aside our own blessings, here are three urgent reasons why you should consider donating to MATW’s Countries in Crisis Appeal, even if you have already contributed to this life saving cause before:

By supporting the needy and destitute, they will be so grateful and will remember you in their duas every single time they receive aid.

SYRIANS
NEED HELP TOO...

DISPLACEMENT:
Hundreds of thousands of people are living in unsafe conditions, with no shelter, no food, and no access to medical care.

HUNGER:
Families are struggling to find enough to eat, and the rising cost of living means many will face winter without even basic necessities.

FEAR & INSECURITY:
With conflict continuing and no end in sight, those affected live in constant fear for their lives.

MATW is working tirelessly to provide essential relief, but the situation is worsening by the day. Your donation of £1000, £500, £250, £100, or whatever you can give will help bring shelter, food, and hope to the Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian families struggling to survive this humanitarian disaster.

Lebanon is experiencing one of the most severe crises in its recent history. With an economy in collapse, crippling poverty, and escalating conflict, the country is at its critical point. Over hundreds of thousands of Lebanese have fled their homes due to the relentless violence, with 50,000 people—both Lebanese and Syrians—forced to cross into Syria just to escape the danger.

For the Syrian refugees who have already endured years of hardship, this an extended nightmare. Lebanon hosts one of the largest per capita refugee populations in the world, with over 1.5 million Syrian refugees.

Imagine fleeing your home, leaving everything behind in a desperate attempt to survive. For Syrian refugees, Lebanon was once a place of safety, a fragile refuge after escaping the horrors of war. But now, after years of rebuilding their lives from the ashes, they face the unthinkable once again: fleeing the place they thought was safe.

These refugees, already vulnerable, now face an impossible situation. Many are being barred from shelters and are left without protection, forced to endure the escalating conflict and worsening humanitarian conditions.

The impact on Syrians and Lebanese alike is devastating:
